Questions and answers
Everything you want to know before you pay
Ideontics assesses business ideas with 4 to 12 AI agents and returns a structured report with an overall score, a seven-category matrix, strengths, risks and a recommendation. One-off payment, no account, no subscription. Your idea stays private, stays yours, and is never used to train AI models.
What this is and who it is for
What exactly does Ideontics do?
Ideontics assesses business ideas with several AI agents that examine the same idea from different roles: strategy, financials, market, risks, and further perspectives depending on the package. The result is a structured assessment with an overall score, a matrix across seven categories, strengths, risks and a recommendation. You watch it being written in your browser.
Who is the assessment for?
For founders who have an idea and want to know whether it holds up before investing time and money. Equally for people inside companies who need to place an internal idea. No business background required; technical terms are explained in a glossary.
How is this different from just asking ChatGPT?
A single chat gives you a single opinion, and it usually agrees with you. Ideontics runs up to twelve agents with deliberately opposing briefs, including one whose only job is to find risks and kill criteria. The results are weighted into one score and returned in a fixed format you can compare across ideas.
Does this replace professional advice?
No. The assessment is a structured evaluation, not legal, tax or financial advice. It helps you ask the right questions and spot weak points early. The decision stays yours.
Can I see an example before paying?
Yes. Under "Examples" you will find complete assessments, fully readable, without signing up and without paying. They show exactly the scope and quality you get for your own idea.
Prices and packages
What do the packages cost and what is included?
Three one-off packages, no subscription and no renewal. Basic (€ 5.99) covers 4 agents, the scoring matrix and a summary. Standard (€ 9.99) covers 8 agents and adds the Business Model Canvas and open validation questions. Full (€ 14.99) covers 12 agents and adds a patent search and the Value Proposition Canvas. The PDF report is included in every package.
Which package do I need?
Basic is enough for a first placement, when you want to know whether the idea is worth pursuing at all. Standard is the normal case once you plan to work with the result, because the Business Model Canvas and the open questions are included. Full pays off for technical or product-heavy ideas where patent situation and value proposition matter.
Can I upgrade to a bigger package later?
Yes. On the results page you can move up to a bigger package at any time and pay only the price difference. The assessment is then re-run automatically with the larger team; you do not have to enter your idea again.
How do I pay?
Payment runs through Stripe. Credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna are available. Depending on your country Stripe may show further methods. Ideontics never sees or stores card details.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. After payment you receive a confirmation by email at the address you enter during checkout.
Can I get a refund?
For digital content delivered immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once delivery begins. You are told this explicitly during checkout and agree to it before the assessment starts. The details are in the terms, section 4.
How it works and what you get
How long does an assessment take?
It depends on the package, because more agents mean more discussion rounds. Basic takes about a minute, Standard two to three minutes, Full up to five. You can follow along live and do not need to keep the window open, because the result is also sent to you by email.
Do I need an account?
No. You enter your idea without signing up, answer the follow-up questions and pay. Your email address is collected at checkout so the result reaches you even if you close the page.
Why does the site ask me questions before the assessment?
A short description of an idea is rarely enough for a solid assessment. A short questionnaire therefore clarifies three to five open points, for example target audience, intended price and current stage. The more concrete your answers, the more concrete the assessment.
What is the ethics review, and what happens if my idea fails it?
Before the assessment, a dedicated agent reviews the idea across six dimensions, among them immediate harm, societal impact and legal compliance. If the result is too low, the idea is rejected with reasons and no payment is taken. The review deliberately sits before checkout.
How reliable are the results?
The assessment is a reasoned evaluation based on what you provide, not a forecast. Its quality depends directly on how precisely you describe the idea and answer the follow-up questions. Every assessment therefore states its assumptions openly and, from the Standard package upwards, the questions you should test in the market yourself.
What can I actually do with the result?
The PDF report, included in every package, is built so you can hand it to co-founders, advisers or a bank. The open validation questions work as a task list for your next steps. The Business Model Canvas sums up the business model on a single page.
Your idea, your data, confidentiality
Does my idea stay private?
Yes. Submitted ideas are not public. There is no public idea directory and no sharing with third parties for advertising or sales purposes.
Do I keep the rights to my idea?
Yes. The idea remains the intellectual property of the person who submitted it. Ideontics acquires no rights to your idea and does not use it for its own ventures.
Is my idea used to train AI models?
No. The analysis runs through the Anthropic API under EU standard contractual clauses, and the submitted data is not used for training. Anthropic deletes it within 30 days as part of the API's standard retention.
Where is my data stored, and for how long?
Ideas are stored encrypted in the EU, specifically with Supabase in Frankfurt. They are deleted automatically twelve months after creation, and earlier on request at any time. Payment records must be kept longer for tax reasons; the details are in the privacy policy.
Can I have my data deleted?
Yes. A message to the address in the legal notice is enough; your personal data is then deleted unless a statutory retention obligation applies. This is your right under Article 17 GDPR.
Question not answered?
Write to the address in the legal notice. Or read a complete example assessment first and see for yourself what you get.
